How to Book
This season we are open for booking requests from 29th March to 31st October 2025
To enquire about booking a chair, please send a text message to Leanne on 07971 964706. You can do this via WhatsApp if you'd prefer.
Please include the type of chair, the date that you would like to book and your full name.
As well as lead volunteer for Beach Ability, I also work and have family commitments too, so I am not often available to take phone calls. That's why I ask for a text message. Its easier for me to check these more often, then check for volunteers before replying to you. I always aim to reply as quickly as possible.
As we rely entirely on volunteers to meet with our users to access our chairs, booking is essential. Wheelchairs are usually available to be collected at 11am unless agreed otherwise. We ask you to arrange a return time with your volunteer. This should be no later than 4pm.
Our chairs are free to use. However, you will be asked for a refundable deposit to secure your booking. We also require identification on the day. Please ensure that you read through our "Using our chairs" information using the button below, to make sure you understand how it all works before making a booking. Thank you.
